Robert C. Chilton
Robert C. Chilton, a Winter Haven native, joined Sharit, Bunn & Chilton, P.A. in 2004. Mr. Chilton graduated from Vanderbilt University, cum laude, in 1999. He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005. Mr. Chilton is “AV Rated” by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating granted by that independent publication.
While at Vanderbilt, Mr. Chilton was honored with the Senior Thesis
Award and the Human and Organizational Development Outstanding Graduate
Award. At Wake Forest, he served as captain of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, treasurer of the Public Interest Law Organization and representative to the Student Bar Association.
Mr. Chilton's practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, community association law (homeowners’ associations, condominiums & mobile homes) personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation and appellate law. He has served on the Claims Court Rules Committee of the Florida Bar and currently serves as treasurer of the Willson American Inn of Court and on the board of the Auburndale Chamber of Commerce. In 2009 and 2010 Mr. Chilton coached for the Winter Haven Youth Soccer Association and is currently a member of the Florida Justice Association, the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association, the National Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, and the First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven. He and his wife live in Auburndale.
