R. Scott Bunn
Scott
Bunn, a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, received his certification
from the Florida Bar with the first group of civil trial lawyers so
certified in 1983. He is "AV Rated" by Martindale-Hubbell,
the highest rating granted by that independent publication. His
area of specialty is civil trial work with a concentration in personal
injury, wrongful death, business litigation and divorce. Mr. Bunn is a past Winter Haven municipal judge and president of the Polk County Trial Lawyers’ Association.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Mr. Bunn graduated from the University of Florida College of Law, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi honorary society. He pursued his undergraduate training at Florida State University and Duke University. Mr. Bunn is admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Colorado Bar, the Florida Justice Association (a/k/a Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers) and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Bunn is a past Winter Haven municipal judge. He has served on and chaired both the Tenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee and the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Tenth Judicial Circuit. Mr. Bunn is involved in many community activities, including coaching youth sports.
